Year 5 & 6 Poetry

Year 5&6 were lucky enough to have a week creating poetry to perform.

They were inspired by the current National Poet of Wales, Hanan Issa, who visited on Monday to share her work with the pupils. The pupil worked hard all week to produce a piece of performance poetry on the theme of Black History/The Slave Trade as part of their topic and to celebrate Black History month. The performances were powerful and impressive so a great well done to all and thanks to Hanan Issa for coming to watch them perform.
