CSI Fairfield
On Monday the children were greeted by the gruesome scene of two dead bodies and a skeleton in the school hall!
Throughout the day, they were taken through the procedures used when investigating crime scenes and proceeded to examine each crime scene in the hall – labelling, photographing, logging evidence and taking measurements. They learnt about the latest forensic advances and experienced taking fingerprints from an object. Following presentations and discussions the case was finally closed. This fascinating workshop was repeated for different children on Tuesday and Thursday. What an interesting educational experience for Year 5 and 6 children.
