Eisteddfod 2017
A fantastic celebration of Welsh culture took place on St. David's Day.
We were thrilled to welcome so many Grandparents to share in our celebration and all the children enjoyed performing for them. Each class demonstrated wonderful examples of Welsh culture, with Year 6 performing 'Oes Gafr Eto?' Grandparents were entertained by singers, whilst enjoying refreshments organised by the PTA and Welsh cakes donated by Waitrose (for which we are very grateful). The Eisteddfod ended with the annual Team Choir challenge, challenging each other with performances of the National Anthem. Da'iawn to Team Dewi who got the most votes from Grandparents. Llongyfarchiadau to The Bard for his poem of Cantre'r Gwaelod.
